Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Policy explains when an order placed with BOOST PRODUCTION SRL may be cancelled and on what terms a refund may be issued. It supplements our Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of the Service
Our Services consist of digital content / customised software developed for the Client's specific vehicle. They fall within the exceptions of Art. 16(a) and 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Art. 16 of Romanian OUG 34/2014.
2. Withdrawal before work has started
You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before we begin executing it. Send a written cancellation request from your account email to service@boostproduction.ro, quoting the order number. We will refund the full amount to the original payment method, less any non-refundable third-party fee (e.g. card-processor charge), within 14 days.
3. Withdrawal after work has started — RIGHT IS LOST
By placing an order and requesting immediate execution, you expressly consent to the start of the service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as execution begins, in accordance with Art. 16(a)/(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. Once we have started reading, analysing or writing the file, the order is non-refundable.
4. Orders we may cancel
We may cancel an order at our sole discretion — including, without limitation, where:
- the file appears corrupted, encrypted or incomplete;
- the requested ECU hardware/software is unsupported;
- the vehicle does not match the information provided;
- there is a suspicion of theft, fraud or unauthorised access;
- the intended use would be unlawful in any relevant jurisdiction;
- the Client breaches our Terms.
Where we cancel an order before delivery, we refund the amount actually paid for that order, less any non-refundable third-party fee. We are not liable for any further loss, including loss of time, lost opportunity, towing or workshop costs.
5. No refund after delivery
Once the file has been delivered, the Service is deemed performed in full and no refund is due. If you believe the file does not meet a technical specification we explicitly confirmed in writing, the procedure and remedy in our Warranty Policy applies — namely, at our discretion, revision/re-issue of the file or refund of the price paid for that file. This is the sole and exclusive remedy.
6. Chargebacks
Any chargeback initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue with us at service@boostproduction.ro is considered an abusive chargeback. We reserve the right to (i) suspend the Client's account, (ii) recover all related costs from the Client, and (iii) report the case to the relevant payment processor and credit bureaus.
7. Refund timing & method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within fourteen (14) days of the approval decision. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the Client's bank, card issuer or payment processor.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumers may submit a complaint to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro), to the SAL platform (reclamatiisal.anpc.ro) or to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr), without prejudice to any other right.
